BR Mk1 57' Non-Gangway Coach - BS - Sc43216

Superb coach with a great magnetic roof implementation and interior detailing on a par with the best in the market and at a fair price.

This is a well produced model with a superb finish, excellent detailing to both the outside and the interiors, excellent lighting and free running.

The second purchase and like the first….doesnt disappoint. Running quality is excellent as is the overall finish. One bit of advice for future runs and perhaps get rid of the magnetic want and use track pick up for the lighting/DCC

Just got my hands on the Accurascale BR Mk1 57' Non-Gangway Coach (BS - Sc43216) and WOW!

Everything Accurascale makes seems to me to push the boundaries of affordable Railway modelling. These BR Maroon Mark 1 Suburban coaches are the second lot I've bought - having previously bought a rake of Crimson coaches. They are exquisite. Nothing is missed. The interiors are beautifully detailed and even the running gear is finely reproduced and absolutely spot-on. They run beautifully and the interior lighting is subtle, realistic and highlights the interior detailing.
Remember, these were everyday workhorses for getting folks to and from work. They would not have been considered 'iconic' by the passengers who used them day in and day out but for me that does not detract from the appeal of the prototypes, the appeal of which to me was their very basic, no frills and modern looking 'plain' appearance. Accurascale has captured that perfectly in a smooth, well riding model.
These Maroon models are going to be appearing in a Scottish Borders setting whilst my Crimson set are in a London, suburban setting.
How about some affordable passengers to populate these lovely carriages Accurascale.

These coaches set a new standard in detail and quality. The service from Accurscale is equally excellent.

Great detail as ever from Accurascale, although some parts are so delicate it is really easy to break them off. Very free rolling and perfect paintwork.
Like others I found the switching of the lights to not be straight forward and took a bit of time to find the 'sweet spot' for the wand. I had this issue on all four coaches that I purchased.
