BR Class 50 - Large Logo w/black roof - 50014 'Warspite'

If Carlsberg made class 50s. Runs and looks great, can't fault it. Taking inspiration from GBRF, has now been dual renamed so have two locos for the price of one which at this price range is a bargain

Absolutely stunning model.
Accurascale, as always, are a cut above the rest when it comes to their models.
The details are excellent, and I cannot wait to fit the pipes and ploughs (even if they're anything like the 37, and are a bit of a pain) just to complete the look.
The mechanism makes this model an absolute beast, hauling anything I have at it over even my now-warped baseboards.
Too my eyes, the multiple working cables, being moulded in colours rather than painted, don't look too bad to me. They could have been a lot worse. Still, the fact that Accurascale have provided alternatives is outstanding.
Really excellent model, cannot wait for their next one.

My first Accurascale model since getting back into the hobby after 30 years. The detail and quality of model is simply stunning, paint finish is amazing too! Although my Class 50 Warspite DC was a late order Accurascale still managed to get it delivered before Fathers Day so thanks for that. What a stunner, everything about this loco is unbelievably high quality. The standard of finish to paintwork and lettering is top notch and the detail is remarkable even down to the underside which you wouldn’t normally see. The working features of this DC version are pretty good too with the various lighting functions and roof fan which I must say really does sound like an old Hoover and obviously not a sound enabled model. Running straight out the box is impressive, very smooth and a good crawl which will only improve with running in. A note about the packaging, I love it!! This is my 12th Accurascale loco and not one has been delivered damaged, yes there were a couple of loose orange detail parts (MUV sockets) in the clam shell on this particular loco but I believe this was caused by over enthusiastic use of hard foam which wasn’t really necessary, the detached parts were easily reattached with a tiny smear of PVA but no big deal. As a suggestion I would like to see slightly more detailed instructions for DC users ie light configuration and roof fan operation, there’s no mention of adjusting the micro switches to enable these functions (same as in the Class 31s). I think the guy from Accurascale who does the You Tube videos “New Junction” should have a hand in writing the instructions, he’s very easy to understand.
Overall this is a truly superb loco that cannot be faulted, well done Accurascale 10/10.
